How it works

Four simple steps.

01

Enter a website URL

Paste a publicly accessible website address. CrawlText follows reachable pages on that site, subject to access restrictions.

02

Choose the page limit

Use Advanced Crawler Parameters to select up to 100 pages per crawl. A limit is a maximum; it does not guarantee that many pages exist or are accessible.

03

Extract and download

Start crawling, review the extracted content, copy it or download it in TXT, Word (.docx) or PDF format.

04

Use AI only if you choose

Optionally choose Gemini, OpenAI, Claude or OpenRouter, enter your own API key and approve the request. Keys are entered again for each operation, and your provider may charge you.

Before you start

Clear limits. Your choice.

Is CrawlText free?

The crawler is free to access during the public beta. To manage shared hosting, usage is subject to limits. The service may pause or throttle requests under load.

Do I need an AI key?

No. Crawling and text downloads work without AI. An API key is needed only for optional AI processing, and any charges are linked to your provider account.

Are my API keys saved?

CrawlText is designed not to persist your key in app storage. For processing, it passes through the hosting backend to your selected provider. Their infrastructure and retention policies may apply.

Will every site work?

No. Some websites restrict bots, require sign-in, rely on browser-rendered JavaScript, or redirect to other addresses. The crawler may skip or fail on those pages.
